If you’re an English-speaking player looking to join the online Culdcept community in Japan, here is a quick guide to getting started with the Culdcept Club league.
1. Account Registration
Sign-up Options: You can register using your Email address or your X (Twitter) account.
Username (User ID): Your ID must be between 3 and 32 characters. You can use alphanumeric characters, hyphens (-), and underscores (_).
Language Tip: While the site is in Japanese, it is very compatible with browser auto-translation (like Google Translate), which should be enough to navigate the menus.
2. The Golden Rule: Site First, Switch Second
Crucial Step: Unlike some other communities, the rule here is to join or host the match on the website FIRST, and then create/join the room on your Nintendo Switch.
How to Join: Log in to the site, look for active matches under the "Recruitment / Participation" (募集 / 参加) section, and click to join.
Room ID: Once you are joined on the site, there is a field to enter and share the Switch Room ID, allowing all participants to sync up.
3. Social & Reporting Results
Communication: Greetings and chat are optional. You don't need to speak Japanese to participate—just focus on the game!
Reporting the Winner: Traditionally, the winner of the match reports the results on the website. If you are unsure how to do this as a newcomer, other participants are usually happy to help.
4. Important Note on Time Zones
JST (Japan Standard Time): All match times and schedules on the site are based on JST. Please make sure to check the time difference for your local area.
